Cannibalism at albolabris

I always separate my offspring in the beginning by selfeating and non eating. One day i found an non eating baby dead in the terrarium. But it was in the morning and i did´t had time, so i left it in for the evening when i am back from work. When i was back from work i found a non eating baby well-fed in the terrarium. It took the dead fellow. After that time, the baby was eating without problems.

sad for the first, but very well for the second baby ill suppose!
Trimeresurus sensu lato is well known for having this cannibalism feeding habits. i have found cannibalism also with other many species.
anyway, i be a bit surprised, the "snake eating" C.albolabris has survived, as it is also often seen, that the food items are to bit and the stomach assed are going back up and the small animals sometimes inhaling them and die. well, at least - the death baby was not dying for nothing - he helped his sibling to get a good start in the world.

very interesting story, I´ve seen this in Morelia viridis species, but the baby that eat the dead brother died a few days after, what did happened with this one??
