| Fantastic coloration, especially when the're young. I'm not totally in the light sand idea but it really makes the snake pop out.
Cheers, Ro. | |

| Thanks mate! I know it isn't the best color, but these snakes like digging around so I wanted to give her that oppurtunity. Before I kept here on paper and I think she is going to like this more | |

| Def. better this than on paper! No pun intended for 'the paperkeepers!' Just not my style.
Cheers, Ro. | |

Second that. Keeping just on paper is very distracting for my taste. | |

| Thank you Mario! But if I were you I would not give my arm for them Handling venomous snakes with one arm makes it a lot more difficult, haha | |

| I wanted to ask Stefan if the animals keep their brightly colors as they mature. This picture answers my question . I am not a keeper of elapids, but what I am noticing is that some downunders are more stoud bodied than non downunders. Cherio Arjan | |

| This one is a real garbage eater, mice, rats, day old chicks, chicken wings, kangaroo meat & oscars (fish). I think he would eat just about anything. Photo taken in outdoor pit does'nt stay there, was cleaning his cage out so i thought he could spend a couple of hours outside in the sun. | |

| Great snake Nigel! @ Arjan: Some get colors like Nigel's collett's, but some get more black with a little bit of deep red | |

| I like them young and adult... Nice colour and pattern. @Nigel: compliments on the cages. (and the snake ) Good craftsmanship... I saw this kind a set up on T.V. ones... I think it was in Australia as well ? Gr., Pascal. | |
