| Hi folks: Here, in my home, i´m checking my computer and view these pics of Bothrops barnetti. The Barnetti Pitviper is an endemic snake from Perú, the common name is "Sancarranca", and is very quiet in captivity. I like the eye colors, many cases are yellow, orange... | This is very nice species, their coloration is really lovely. Unfortunatelly there in Europe they are little bit more expensive. Is it hard to reproduce them? | |

The reproduction isn´t complicated.
In captivity, is very quiet, not agressive, good feeder.
I listen about them in Hamm...is really?? how expensive are they???

| Walter: Thank you for the answer. I know about one man who breed them there in Europe. At the moment he is still offering babies from last year if i good remember. He wrote me the prize but I don´t remember. In Hamm on December 2009 he wanted for them about 800Euros if I good remember. They are wonderfull but little bit expensive as almost all lanceheads. | |
