| I got a pair from Christoph a few weeks ago and they do pretty well. Besides the fact, that they until now just feed on living young mice and it is rather difficult here to buy those (luckily now I found a shop some 30km away), they now both shed without problems and seem to get a bit more calm - they were really aggressive the first days! Cheers, Guenter Male: Female:

| Niiiice shots again. You said that they were really aggressive for few days - maybe little bit tressed about new home. That aggressivines is not common for E.c.c what I´ve heard from other E.c.c owners and especially my own E.c.c was so calm that I could use her as a tie if I would like to have done it. E.c.c´s are really beautiful snakes with their shine on every colours of rainbow. rgds Ari | |

| The got more calm in the last few weeks, indeed. I thought too, it may have been from the stress.
My other snakes are doing pretty well. The 1,1 Lampropeltis zonata pulchra, I got from Peter, are now about 50cm long and eat well - they would eat three pinkies in a row if I'd let them. I'm feeding two small pinkies every 8 days now.

| Absolutely stunning photos, Guenter! - Congratulations
I´m also very glad to hear, that the Epicrates are doing well!
@Ari: My experience with epicrates is, that they are born really snappy, not really aggressive but they just have the instinct to bite everything that moves. - Their behaviour changes really quick (within a few weeks), and they tend to be very calm then.
Best wishes, Christoph |

I keep a Cuban boa, E. angulifer and he is totally insane! Hissing and striking at first sight!

| Update: Now in their big cage (60x60x150cm) they are hiding all day long, digging into the flower pot or simply beneath it. A shot of the female from today, she is a bit more difficult to feed but now usually takes dead speckies if I use some tricks. | |

| Thanks. The E. c. does not like being photographed, they much more like to immediately hide in the ground substrate. But sometimes a lucky shot is possible as here | |

| Fisheye shot - distance lens / snake about 10mm Note completely crips, but it adds to the dynamic I think.
