| Hello all, I'd like to share a few photos of my lately acquired pair of nose-horneds. These are F3 bred by Clemens Radspieler, and both are STUNNERS! I can't take my eyes off them, really. The photos are only cropped and right out of the camera, no color-improved. Enjoy. :-) Female unfortunately wasn't very willing to pose, so two shots just to show You the coloration (in real she's less green I'd say, it's hard to show their actual colors...): And the male, this guy is a born model, that's the motivation to buy better lens for my camera. :-D Showing his red belly (I'm sure every female would go for this one, hehe ;-)): Red-yellow-green(ish): Best regards, Maciej | |

| Indeed, Mr. Cakmak!
Daniel, I really love Your female and it's sligthly darker pattern, simply awesome. Keep us updated with the pics and how the vipers are doing in general, I'll do the same as often as possible. Cheers, Maciej

| Thnx guys..
I will keep you up to date, they are born mid 2009 so they are not big ;-)
They took the first meal after hibernation like champs. So there will be no problem raising them up to some size this year.
Regards Daniel | |

| Hello Daniel, hello Maciej,
with these colours as babies they are very promising. They are beauties but they will be much more.
Please show us photos of them in 1 or 2 years when they will have changed colors.
Good luck with them, Rainer

Same here, Daniel. Mine are about 40, maybe 45cm at the moment, I'd say... Best regards, MP

| Hi, I did some measuring in the meantime. Enjoy. :-) Female: Male: The photos were taken for measuring purposes only, excuse the terrible light, blur and all the rest that's gone wrong. ;-) Best regards, MP | |

Rainer Here it is the female. It is really difficult to capture the real colour hue of the animals. Hope you like it. Regards

| Hello Israel,
first: I like it. Especially in V. amm. from Montenegro there is a spectacular change in colour - mostly they become brighter when they grow - I suppose she will be even more beautiful later.
You´re right, it is very difficult to show the real colours of these snakes in a photo. The hue of colors cannot be shown by any technical means. One must see the snakes in sunlight. I took hundreds of V. amm. photos, none of them shows their real beauty, neither if the photos have been taken with a flash in a terrarium nor in nature with bright sunlight.
Regards,
Rainer | |

| I must say, I never really liked these Euro vipers. After seeing these, wow! That yellow/white colour looks almost pure.
I hope you really enjoy these!

| Yes, thy are really nice. I think the green will comes out well when they got age.
Your red belly ones look like mine as they were young.
You have some nice ammodytes.
I would like to see the development in coloration through the times.
Regards, Patrick | |
