The photos won't show because of the wrong tag, I think. The picture location should be put within the [ img]...[ /img] tag, not [imgc].

| Hi, very nice pics and trip! i think you should use the name of malpolon insignitus (eastern montpellier snake) rather than Malpolon monsspesulanus fuscatus .

I work currently on this genus. Do you have an actual paper about this? I found only this Malpolon insignitus — CARRANZA et al. 2006 When I have a look at http://www.jcvi.org/reptiles/search.php, it is only a ssp of M. monsspesulanus rgds Fabian Really awesome pics!

| There are 4 subspecies listed on Reptile Database, Fabian:

well, "fuscatus" doesn't exist anyway, but fuscus.
That must be Malpolon monspessulanus insignitus (or Malpolon insignitus) indeed in Montenegro.
