| Very cool! One the best looking snakes! How long do you keep this snake allready? Is it an "easy" snake to keep? | |

| I don`t have it very long, i hope to get it established. Feeding well on dead mice what was a quite big surprise to me. Now I`ll wait some time and then have a look if it`s a male or female, don`t want to stress him. I`ll keep you updated and make some better shots.

| Bungarus feeding on mice? Interesting. How is the behaviour? Dayly and when it is dark? | |

| Thats great, a B. flaviceps that feding on mice...absolutly phantastic! I hope it will not change his mind. Was it a fresh WC or a well established one, from an other stock? I have observe it in my B. fasciatus years ago, the feeds dead rat Babys, but unfortunly the change her mind and stopped this behaviour... Fingercrosing for your one! | |

| Thank you guys. I got him as fresh wc but looking quite good, just had a bad shed and wasa a bit thin so you can imagine that i was very happy that he was feeding after some time.
He`s very shy and most the time hiding, when i have to do something in the cage he just his very nervous, but doesn`t making any preparations of atacking me.
Just a fantastic snake, also like the B. fasciatus, you still have it in your collection Peter?

| Hello Julian, no, I don´t have anny Bungarus acrually in my collection. I got some years ago as fresh WC from Vietnam. Some of the 2 fasciatus and one candidus was gravied females. I was very happy, that the females takes some dead snakes, but after few weeks, the only acceped alive Ratsnakes. One one of them, maby one of the males, has feed dead ratbabys, but not for a long time. After this, I gave them Dead Ratbaybs that i put in a shedding of a Snake. All this works only for one or two times. The freshly hatched offsprings of the fasciatus execped one, don´t feed on mices or other ,, normal´´ prey. Unfortunly I don´t get enought alive baby snakes to feed them, I give away some to a friend, but we both wasn´t lucky to keep them very long....a went bad and the younsters died. Some of the candidus has feed some mices, and one grow up. Months later I gave all Bungarus away to a keeper in Luxemburg. Thats my Bungarus Story. Very nice snakes, but not all the time easy to keep. Again, Fingercrossing for your Redhead!
BTW: The A. laevis that I got from you, is now gravied!
