| Hi Niels, hi all,
thanks for the appreciation; no, the first nivea is not the one I got from you (Niels). The one from you is even more yellow and is also doing very well - just beautiful - and it actually mated with one of my speckled females. No eggs yet, though. If you ever have a matching pure yellow female for sale, let me know.
By the way, these are (from top to bottom): Naja nivea, N. kaouthia, Dendroaspis jamesoni, Pseudonaja textilis, Oxyuranus s. canni, N. nigricollis, Bothrops venezuelensis, Micrurus frontalis, M. laticollaris, M. nigrocinctus divaricatus, Bitis rhinoceros, Bungarus caeruleus, O. s. canni, Hemachatus haemachatus, D. viridis, Dispholidus typus, Trimeresurus trigonocephalus, M. laticollaris, N. nivea, Acanthophis rugosus, H. haemachatus, Echis ocellatus, Daboia russelli, B. candidus, Naja annulata, A. laevis, A. antarcticus.
Furthermore, we currently keep: Bitis nasicornis, B. arietans (Lake Nakuru), Atheris squamigera, Bothrops leucurus, B. asper hypomelanistic, B. moojeni. (pics later)
Regards,
Klaus | |

| Fantastic animals and shots of them. As i am a big Naja annulata fan, it would interest me if you have a pair and if you will breed them? Thanks for sharing.

| G'day Scott,
good to hear from you, too. In the past 10 or so years, I had 5 textilis (from Merauke, Indonesia, not Australia), one big male (of more than 2 m length; the one that is shown on the pic) and some smaller females. With the exception of one adult female, all animals died after a few years in captivity (they were wild-caughts). Strangely, they all developed a tumour midbody that eventually killed them (Parasite-induced?). The remaining female is doing very well though and I hope I can get a matching male. The snake is a captive-born animal I obtained in 2004 from Iwan Hendrickx. I truely would love to get my hands on some Australian Pseudonaja, in particular the black-headed golden nuchalis and the silverish textilis. Maybe some day the laws for exporting captive-bred snakes from Australia will be less restrictive (Oh well, I'm dreaming again...).
Good to have you on the forum!
All best wishes,
Klaus | |

| Gday Klaus,
Those black headed browns have been re classified and are now Pseudonaja mendgeni. Very quick things..i bred them about 10 years ago and could not give away the hatchlings!!!!
As for silver textilis i had some beautiful ones but unfortunately they died once they were both about 2 years old.
Cheers, Scott | |
