| G'day all,
I had been told about this forum by a mate of mine so I thought I would have a look. So far I like what I have seen.
I haven't been keeping elapids long but I look forward to spending some time seeing how things are done O/S.
Cheers, Stephen | |

It was certainly an eye opener when I saw someone on here chasing Pseudechis porphyriacus and the figure attached was around $10 000 a pair from memory. They are a nice animal though! Cheers, Stephen.

| Yes, thats right! 10.000 for a couple of snakes...Ok, when the need them sooo much. Nothing for me. P. porphyriacus a realy nice. But my favorite aussie Genuses are Acanthophis and maby Notechis. I don´t keep australian elapids here, but maby in the future. | |

I agree with your favourites too Peter, my current permit restrictions doesn't allow me to keep either of the two you have mentioned but it is definitely a goal of mine. I think for now though the young P. porphyriacus will keep me happy! Cheers, Stephen.

Cheers Nigel, I have seen some of your tigers about the place, I would love to get the outdoor pits going but no chance in NSW, moving to QLD in a few weeks if they let me take the red belly and see how things up there go... not too confident. I'm not sure how the half wife will take me not relocating if I can't take him north... Who cares! Cheers, Stephen

| Yeah it's a bit crazy here with the different states & territories having different rules in regards to keeping native wildlife. You will enjoy your time here on VENOMLAND! | |

Thanks jack. I may have had a win with the relocating north to Brisbane Nigel and could be allowed more species than I currently am down here.
