| Hello to all, My name is Torben a venomous snake keeper from '89 for a while. I live with my wife Sherida, and we are waiting on a beautifull moment ( we are going to have a son ) within a few week. She's at the ending of her pregnancy, so everything you say about here may have terrible consequeces if she's able to read it In the beginning it were pitvipers and adders who took my attention and saw scaled vipers were among the top of my collection. After a long time spending my time on rattlesnakes, I felt the tickling to inform about the Elapids, Cobra's for example. After some reading and practice, I started keeping Cobra's like Siamensis, Kaouthia, Annulifera and Pallida. But than there was a beautifull snake, with such a beauty and display and I felt in love ( again ) don't tell my wife I've kept a lot of differend snake species but the elapids took the most of my interest. Especially Mamba's are snakes which I want to learn about, because of their intelligence and temperament. I've seen a lot of interesting topics out here, so I'm not afraid having a nice time over here. Kind regards, Torben Touwslager | |

What kind of "permission steps", please? You tried to register with an incomplete name first, and what makes you laugh here is a lot of work for our admins, which could easily be avoided by reading and following the rules. regards Peter

wrong again. I didn't forget - i just haven't been in the mood for that after reading that you see the muddle with your registration as funny. Having that bu....it every day and seeing ridiculed our rules and daily work is just a kick in the A** for the admins. Thank you! Best regards Peter

| well, what do I have to say about this ? I wasn't making fun about the registration, only trying to figure it out why me and others wouldn't be accepted in the past few days. At the end the only thing I changed was the email adres and till now I still don't know why my new adres would not be accepted. I followed the rules so I don't see the problem, do you Just like it here and hoping to have a great time over here. And with the sentence ( you forgot to say, welcome ...... ) that had to be the one with the funny side, but I did not. Sorry but the humor in the netherlands, perfectly translated doesn't have the same outcome kind regards, Torben | |

Yes, i do - maybe you still do not. You tried (several times) to register under a username "TorbenT" - that's the problem, not your email adress. Forum rules require full real name (first and family name) to register, so please stop now blaming the forum or the admins for your repeated disrespect of our rules! sincerely Peter

| Maybe it is not that clear - it is just a banner on the main site ("You are requested to register with Your full name ...") AND repeated in red letters directly below. I guess it should also be repeated in Braille to make sure that even the blind ones get it ... | |

| well, C'mon normally I'd never really read everything before registering. The reason is because I'm registered on many forum's and almost every forum sharing the same rules. It may be a wise lesson for the next time, but this can happen to everybody. I completely understand the reason you ask for complete names, but it sounds more like I'm being bomberd with negative reactions, meanwhile I'm trying to tell what went wrong.
If this ain't fit your street, we share differend meanings than. And again with saying you forgot to say welcome, with a big smile after that, you did not quote that part, had to be a friendly side cause I'm new here.
I'm not blaming the forum or the rules, but ask for understanding for things that could overcome anybody.
Kind regards,

Torben... hold your horses!! A few days on a new forum (where you didn't read the rules) and allready you have problems with forum members. Why do you always have to go into argument.... Just act normal for once...

| Torben,
Watch your attitude!
Read before you think and think before you write!
You are not making things easier for yourself.
I think it will be good for you, to have the opportunity sharing your hobby with others!!!
You can search the whole internet for a forum were people agree with your methods and
attitude, but you won't find one!!! So accept and adapt.
Best regards, Johann | |
