What are the rules?

I had a look but I cannot see them on here?

I want to know if common names are banned on this forum? I want to make sure I don't have another one of my threads edited or locked and my reply deleted again..

Any pointers to a thread which explains these would be much appreciated.

and some remarks from Mario (Lutz, founder and still owner of this board) - as good as rules:

„so at least add the scientific name of the models here please"

„so, please try to be correct in naming your threads and animals, coz it is important!“

„i do not want to see "common names" here at all“

„i have no problems with people using common names at all, but please, they can do that in other forum/discussion board if they feel to do so!“

And referring to your pm where you named moderating actions of team members (such as deleting posts) "undemocratic moves":
Who told you this board is or should be democratic - of course it's not , and it will never be!
Like it or not, i don't care......

So please, absolutely no more "puffys or speccys, only scientific names or at most worldwide established common names (like Puff Adder or Spectacled Cobra) only in combination with scientific names!

Believe it - or have a look for another virtual home....our goal here is quality, not quantity.
