| Thor, this is an excellent study {headshot} , i would like to comment that to observe the post orbital stripe on this central american specimen of Bothriechis schlegelii vs Jacob Locayo's shot of the Ecuadorian specimen {absent}.

How far was lying to you or you used it you zoom?

As for the black background this can be accomplished by several techniques - the easiest is to use an actual black background combined with lighting. It is best to not direct the lights directly at the object and backgorund - but from the sides (or under/top) to create structure | |
