I have been lucky enoght to keep the male alive almost two years now and I trade my other male to a female which is doing great. I hope everything goes well and I see some babies in couple of years from now.. Male: Female: Sami

| Very nice Sami. This is a species I'd absolutely love to keep. The problem is they are pretty rare here in the US or atleast I've never seen them up for grabs. Good to see you here from VC, I am new here myself. | |

Why do you say that? It is a difficult species to keep? Very nice animals, indeed, good luck with their breeding Cheers

| Thanks guys. Ari you didn't know about these? I'll sure hope the female drops something soon.. Not sure thou because it isn't that heavy at the "back" as I would thik it should be. The female has been off from food the whole 2010 year (and usually I feed it 2-3 times a month). Hope there isn't anything wrong and I'll soon have a dead bilineata in my terrarium. The male is doing great and has stop growing lenght. Israel: Yeap they tend to be quite difficult to keep especially WC animals. But both of my snakes are CB. Actually one of my friend told me not to sell the other male because they were doing so great Does someone know do the females shed before giving birth? Here's couple of quick photos. Female Male | |

| And what's the particular issue that makes them so difficult? Food? Environmental factors?
Thanks | |

Thanks They tend to be harder to get feeding on rodents and are more delicate to cage conditions. This is just something I have heard, no first hand experience. Thanks Remi! When we can see some of your beauties?

| Wow, very nice Sami. I really like the second and third photos of the second round of photos. You don't typically get to see the underside of the jaw line in snake photos, so that is pretty cool. I can tell you that cbb babies are hard to get onto rodents, geez! They think they are little mambas and bolt at the first disturbance. | |

| Hi guys.. little update. The female shed it's skin some days ago and after that I put the male to see the pretty girl again..and the male went nuts and chased the female, but again I didn't actually see the copulation. Here's couple of shots. | |

| Hello guys.. No luck this time! The female dropped 13 infertile eggs couple of days ago. Damn!
But it started to feed again (it was off from food over 7 months).
Better luck next year.
Sami
