Bad news - Death by Crotalus durissus

Before you'll read it in some newspapers or other forums:
A friend of mine has been killed by a Crotalus terrificus today at my home. He has been a caretaker for venomous snakes at my zoo earlier - and the circumstances of that accident are more than strange.

Me and Claudia were both shocked when we read from it in the ORF teletext. As he was an earlier caretaker, I simply cannot understand how he could do this.
From my visits I know how extremly carefully You always make sure that all cages are locked.

that's really bad news, not very far from what I would call worst case. I'm so sorry for your loss - and of course for his family.
