Venomous sneke in Exo Terra

I just wondering if anybody keep venomous snake in Exo Terra cages, how it's safe, practical Question

I keep almost all of my arboreal vipers in exoterra cubes. The locks work great and if you want more security they make some with loop locks for you to put a pad lock on it if you want. Been using them for years never had any animals escape from any of them. Easy cleaning and great ventillation. All A's in my book! cheers

Only on one instance. My male white lip rubbed his nose. It healed up with some neosporin and he never did it again other than that no problems.

some ducktape on to top of the terrarium is good, I had a albolabris who presset on the roof so i oppend..

I think you'll enjoy the different styles and sizes for the various species. For individuals and groups to be housed.

Do you cover the top with something?
It think they dry out i little bit to fast for me.

A friend of mine keep rattlesnakes in a exoterra, works really good since they want it more dry.

I use exo terra for my arboreals, works great just cover half the top of the terrarium with duketape, or exo terras original cover is okej to.

My Natrix maura escaped from an exoterra. I still am wondering how was that possible. there were no signs of escape and she had just eaten...
I covered it with a piece of cardboard from a shoebox and taped it on.

I find that Exo Terras dry out too quickly, even with the top covered

I use exos for all my snakes, specialy the ones that need good ventilation, I think they are the best. Remember, good ventilation is more important than standing damp air!
I personally find that if I cover half of the top they get too moist, specially with Atheris..

I also have different species of chameleons and they always tend to have a respiratory problems in exos in long term so i now use screen cages for all of them.. Atheris seems to go well in exos though.

I got now 9 exo terras in different sizes.In my opinion the best terras and they look nice too!!!!!

I keep my Western Diamondbac and Acanthophis Hawkei in Exo Terras. I had doubts about it too but they proved to be very safe.

I have a pair of young red diamondbacks in one Exo, their fine.

Also have 4 ExoTerras in use, sealed the first half on top off with a peace of rubbermat and no problems with drying either (mainly because i check'em out everyday).
Keeping at this point there 2 C.atrox (CB-10), a C.ruber (CB-10) and an adult male V.gumprechti (CB-07). Have not had any problems with these terras either, common sense is that you once in a while check the toplids and that the locks are working solid.

I've kept a number of Crotalus in ExoTerras with no problems whatsoever. I've never kept anything that required a somewhat high humidity however because I've always had other cages for that.

I have also two Exo Terras,for a pair of Bothriechis nigroviridis.
They doing well inside for over two years.

Be sure to don't put your hands on the top ventilation and be bitten.

I think that counts for all ventilation on any terrariums, so its not especially for exo terra!
