| Thanks I've got this female in March 1999, right after she was born. She is now only about 2' long. She should be 4' - 5'. I don't know what the problem is. She eats good. | |

| There are two "forms/lines" of Bitis rhinoceros in collections. We also have animals, which are very big, but also pair, which is over 6 years old, and just approx. 80 cm in length... We put them together a while ago, so we will see if there is any result from them.... | |

| I got this female from Mitch (Diamond Reptiles). He said he knew of no siblings or others from that line that stayed that small. I really like her. i've had a few that weren't nearly as colorful as her. | |

| So, maybe it's a genetic-thing ? I wouldn't know: I'm not a scientist... Also a compliment to your enclosure's; from what I can see, it's really looking nice ! (I also saw the Naja cage's) Gr., Pascal. | |

| Pascal,
Are you complimenting the cage my Gaboon is in? I keep my snakes in very simple cages. Big rubbermaid containers, Neodesha, and Vision cages.
That is a photo booth my buddy has, so he and Jerry, can take those nice pics. He has different kinds of rocks, sand, pine needles, bark, pebbles size stone, and he cuts a fresh tree branches from his yard, all so he can make more natural settings for the pics.
I'm making a nice cage for my Malaysian King. It's 12' x 4' x 3' high on the inside. The cage is itself is done, but I have to finish the inside. Bamboo or some kind of good looking fake foliage, rocks, small waterfall, etc. He's in the cage now in my living room.

So you mean it's a kind of stage setting ? Still looks nice... I would like to see the King cage in time... Gr., Pascal.

| Stage setting, exactly. I'll build one after I finish my new hot room. The King's cage will take a little longer. I have to get the bamboo and other foliage, pump and filter for the waterfall, make the waterfalls the fake rock way. I'll post pics when I get it done, but it will be a while. In the meantime the Kings cage has a big water pool he can get into completely, and a couple half round hollowed out logs to hide in. One near a heat lamp and one away from it. | |
