| Dave Nixon and I went out to the Western Cape to spend some time with fellow herper and well known author Dr Tony Phelps. We spent a great week herping in the field with Tony who I know from a long time ago and it was a pleasure being in his company and with Dave of course. I'm quite busy at work so its taking some time to process the images and I've only managed to do a few and these are mostly landscape and habitats but I've thrown in a critter to keep everyone interested. Thanks to Dave Nixon and Dr Tony Phelps for friendship and help. Specials thanks to my long suffering wife who continually lets me loose in foreign lands! Rocky aree where Cape Cobra were basking Evening same area Dave Nixon photographing sunset Flowering plants in the fynbos Tony extracting venom from Cape Puff Adder Boomslang from below looking skywards Cape Puff Adder with ultrawide angle lens (very very close) Habitat round Oudtshoorn Many more to follow! | |
