| Great stuff, especially the wide angle photos. The dragon on the railway track is a wonderful shot. | |

I love it too - somehow it has got "Darwin Award" written all over it - you could just see one of them being dumb enough to try and bluff a train....

| The wide angle ones are with a sigma 10-18mm which seems to work quite well | |

Quite near with the wideangle. You took this by hand or with a remote? I used the timer which gave me around 10 seconds to get the camera in close with it set to hyperfocal. The lens was almost touching the animals at time.

| Do you have anymore bearded dragon pictures? I really like the ones you took. I own a dragon and always love seeing them in their natural habitat. | |

| Congrats! Some of the best field shots I have seen in a looonnnng time. Thanks for sharing.
With reference to your post from Dec. 8: Thought about Mt. Kinnabalu on Kalimantan? Great place - herpingwise. One may encounter Calliophis (Maticora) bivirgata flaviceps and Bungarus flaviceps, among many other spectacular creatures.

| Graeme - some excellent shots in there. Lovely stuff. A couple of questions - 1) was the olive python L. o. olivaceus, or L. o. barroni? And 2) were the Perth tigers at Herdsman's Lake? If so, you found some nice ones - most there are pretty ordinary-looking, but those in your pics are nicely-marked and look like they are in good nick.

| I'm still puzzled how you got that close to the Pseudonajas. My own captives are so nervous that it is next to impossible to get closeups, and in the field they have much more space to escape I guess. Again, great job!
