| Haha, you can post as many pictures as you want mate! Really cool enclosures!
May I ask what you do in wintertime with these snakes? Have you build a hibernation place insite the enclosure or do you get them inside your house?

| Very nicely done, Mr. Sowter. In my view, this is the ideal way in which to keep snakes(with plenty of fresh air and natural sunlight). Thanks for posting this. Sincerely, Jon Davidson . | |

| Stefan; people tell me to leave them out all year round but i'm a softy & worry that they will get cold! Had them all since they were hatchlings so i guess i'm abit protective of "my babies" The picture of their hides is just 2 bins, 1 inside the other with 2 polysyrene floors giving them 3 levels to choose from & i can easily pull out the hide to clean without the earth falling back into the hole. Hide goes down 450mm into the ground. In the middle of summer the sun just hits the hides & in winter does'nt hit the bottom of the pits at all for about 8 weeks due to there location down the side of the house. Have seened them out in temps of 8 degrees & heavy rain yesterday. Kept them all inside the garage for 12 weeks over winter on little heat & then back outside. Jon; thanks i think the natural elements is good for there natural instincts to kick in, got 6 more tasmanian tigers on the go at the moment & they should be ready to go outside next summer-better start building more! Martti & Alexandru; i better do some weeding first, i don't think the snakes care but i like to see them in "the open"

| Hey Stefan thanks for posting some of the pictures that Ralf took at my place, i would'nt had of seen them until tomorrow (sunday 5th) as he's back here again to hopefully get some better pics as those ones were taken on not a nice day, cloudy, rainey, & windy. Any excuse for another visit ha ha. But yeah good to meet fellow herps from other countries & hopefully they will enjoy there visit at my place. Will be taking him to www.wildlifepark.com.au tomorrow with some hope of getting behind the scenes of the reptile house & then onto www.pailsforscales.com.au for a private visit at his house, he is one of the largest breeders in the country. | |

Pits are roughly 1.8 x 1.5, only because the square tubing comes in 6.5m lengths, enough for 4 rails=2 sides with no wastage of steel. Height is 900m as the fencing sheets my mate gave me were 1.8 so i cut them in half (yeah i know i'm tight with freebees lol). They were then screwed to the frame & i added another 300m to the bottom that extends into the ground. Because of the (low) height they had to have a lid, which i will later change to a half lid. Am also thinking of some sort of overhead cover.

| Outstanding. And Dajarra Adder looks owesome. Really nice colours. Too bad that there aren't any available in Europe. It would nicely fit to my collection.
