Comment:Agkistrodon bilineatus taylori has been elevated to species status by
PARKINSON et al. (2000) based on mtDNA sequences which is not a convincing species criterion in my opinion (PU).
Named after
Edward Harrison Taylor (1889-1978), American herpetologist who spent several years in the Philippines before returning to the University of Kansas.
