| Well, I was actually planning to make some pictures of the Naja naja couple. I gave them two bigger cages but I think I put too much stuff in there cause now the're gone. That's why I had the camera with me. Maybe later today. I have the Alligator only since December last year. He or she is doing great, eats everything and grows like weed. Cheers, Ro. | |

| Thanks guys! @Chaim; No I have also a normal and an albino. And very soon a lot more! @Skippy; Yeah well, Ali won't be too happy when you come over. I have to catch him and put him upstairs for a day. I don't think he would enjoy your DJ skills and 25 teenagers jumping around the room. Cheers, Ro. | |

| @Sascha; Do you have pics up off your atra? I love atra. A lot of character these snakes. @Jan; I have kids so everything that lives in the livingroom for a while will get a name eventualy. So now I have Kees Korst and Ali the Alligator. @Michael; Oh believe me, I did everything to make that happen. That's my number one goal with breeding tigers and redbellies. The male was not the problem. The smaller female wasn't interested and the big female and the male always end up fighting. They get hyper when I open the cages so the're allready pissed when I put them together. I'm now making two cages that are connected so that they stay calm when they get together since I won't be involved. Hopefully that would do the trick next year. I think these sputatrix are the best looking cobra I've seen. Cheers, Ro. | |

| I'd love to see full body shots of the sputatrix as well. They are actually Pied, not Calico Michael. Do you have a pair of them, Ro? I am hoping to breed my 2 pairs of Pied sputatrix this coming year of they are big enough.

| I will do my best to make some soon. The're speckled over their entire back. @Randy; Why are they pied? Not being sarcastic, I really don't know. I have 1.2 adults btw. Cheers, Ro. | |

| I am not positive that this morph is actually Piebald. I came to that conclusion after reading this article: http://vetherppath.hubpages.com/hub/Understanding-Reptile-Color-and-Correct-Color-Terminology
Towards the bottom of the article it talks about Piebaldism. Quote "Piebaldism was believed to be a related condition to leukism, but it is often a progressive condition over time in animals, though may be static. Animals that are born with a pattern that is maintained over the course of their life may not be piebald, that is often something else, like mosaicism or a pattern mutation it depends on the nature of the color pattern. Too often I have had someone show me an animal with a clear case of pattern mutation where the normally white bands (kingsnakes are a good example) are wider than usual and less neat, and they call it piebald. It is not so.
Typical progressive piebald animals start out normal then loose patches of pigment over time until they reach or get near maturity when it often stops progressing, though some can progress to complete loss of pigment. However, some species have static piebaldism too, but whatever the type, piebaldism is random, not patterned."
Whatever these are, I don't believe calico is the correct term.

| Thanks for the info Randy! I myself have no clue besides that I think the're really awesome looking.
Btw, I know the parents of my animals are both WC animals that looked totally the same. This colormutation(?) could be a little population...

| I also do not think it is a real colormorph. I think it is more like Naja siamensis but than with brown instead of black. Also some German guy had a wildcaught specimen like this for sale last year. Like Ro said this is probably just a colorform from a specific locality Anyway, they are the best looking cobras ever! | |
