| Thanks for this and all the other pictures, Guenter! They're as outstanding as i expected. Unfortunately, I have to tell You that "Fred", the pictured Naja siamensis male, died a couple of days ago without visible reason. Examinations by my veterinarian and the laboratories are still running.
I've been very sad for some days due to the fact that Fred was a outstanding snake in different ways. Fortunately, I purchased 2 younger brothers from the german breeder, one living at Marios zoo and the other one's here to replace Fred in the future.
Still sad Peter | |

| Peter, I'm really shocked to hear that! He made a very positve impression and looked so fine at the shooting. And the temperatures seemed to be warm enough too. My sympathy! Guenter | |

| Hi Guenter, actually the title of the picture collage saying "Siamese Cobras" is quite funny, because the left picture and the middle one look like one snake with two heads - like a "siamese" cobra ... was this by accident or on purpose? Best regards, Hendrik | |

| Lovely snake !! Hey Guenter , it looks like the snake has two heads in the picture? , instead of a tail he has another deadly head ? , that would be a tricky snake to handle !!! | |

| If one head is male and the other female , then you have a pair but is it still 1.1 ? cause then thats two snakes? | |

| Well the purpose was to get some connection between "siamese twins" and "siamese cobras" ... it was intentional. In fact it is always the same snake - Fred, the now sadly gone Naja siamensis from peter Zürcher. Fine that Hendrik found this hidden feature, I wondered if somebody would.
The tricky part was to get the pictures into some synchronity. I think it worked rather fine.
I'll always try to get more than one meaning into a picture - not always possible, but that's my photographic intention - to tell stories, not just make pictures.
And yes: tailing such a snake could be adrenalin producing ... | |
