| Over three years in the making, adults came from Merauke, pairing/copulation attempts every year, and finally yesterday... JACKPOT!!! Never thought I'd see they day. Man, am I happy I fished out 11 healthy, surprisingly big babies from the terrarium. Hope you enjoy... Pushing thru. Looking at the following two photos, doesn't it look like there's urine within the sac? This was new to me. This one was my favorite right off the bat, lightest of them all. | |

| Very good! Cogratulations! Like Andrew wrote, please add some pics from the parents. I has had a litter too, two months ago, but not from Merauke adders. My are from Aseki. The offsprings looks like yours! It will be nice to compare the adults from you to mine. | |

| Thank you very much everyone! Much appreciated. Peter, your animals are stunners, wow! It seems that I haven't taken much updated shots of the parents - at least ones that would show entire body. Most I could find were more or less headshots, the only decent ones showing whole body are back from the day they arrived to me... So I need to take some new ones. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoy these: | |

| Thanks for posting the pictures from you adults Christian. I have to look for some of mine too. I hope I can find a pic from the male, unfortunely he died in Spring after a realy bad mite atac. You adults look very nice and very similar to the offsprings from me. My adult female is much darker.
@ Ro: Thanks mate, yes I´ll like them very much, but the litter wasn´t big, only 7 Offsprings and only 4 alive. I keep them for my self, because my male died and I need some more from this adders as well... I like them sooo much. The ,,Pit-Bull´s´´ in my collection. Hope to find some nice shots from the adults, then I come back to Christians treat! | |

| Thanks for the info Peter! I was just wondering what would be kind of average. I know of litters from 2 to even 20+ animals. And allthough you have only 4 now, your breeding group is saved with wonderfull backup. I think I will soon try to find some nice Acantophis for myself... @Christian; Great looking animals for sure! Cheers, Ro. | |

| Thanks a lot guys! No problem Peter. I have to see if one of these days I could take new full-body shots of the parents. Julian, I will be putting most up for sale once they shed for the first time and start eating. And of course I'd need to confirm their sexes too. Not sure if they'll shed and eat before Hamm... | |
