| With all this talk about Leucistic genes and eye color and so forth lets not forget about how beautiful they are. WHITE cobras with blue, red, black eyes, it doesn't matter. Here is a better pic of the male here is the female Enjoy the photos as I enjoy owning them. | |

| I thought we were talking about "white" snakes with blue or black eyes being Leucistic. Of course a hypo enyo with blue eyes is not a leucistic, but if that enyo was pure white like Jason's Leucistics, pictured above, then your enyo would most likely be Leucistic, in most peoples eyes. | |

| Hey Mitch, Last year I produced something very similar if not identical to what you just posted. I'd be curious to see what the parents of yours looked like or some info on their parents etc.. Cheers! T- | |

| Really beautiful cobras indeed. I like those colors. Be it 'natural' or 'enhanced' colors, I basically like what I like, what pleases my eye.
Regardless of the fact that some love, some hate these morphs, I think you gotta appreciate the work and dedication these people put into their passion. | |

| Hi there,
I'm far not interested in those morphs, but a question comes in mind. How long and how far do you have to do cross-breeding to isolate those specifications? (in-breeding, I'm not talking about hybridization). Or are those lines without any cross breedings?
thanks a lot

| Hey Mitch and Jason, first of all welcome... good to have you guys here and your experience with such great animals as well. Unfortunately it´s that difficult to get true colour morphs of Kaouthias or Sputatrix in Germany and I hope to get the opportunity getting in touch with such beautiful specimen anytime. I am looking forward to seeing and reading more of you here at venomland. Cheers Pascal | |

| Man that lavender sunset looks just like my male. He is a albino het. for sunset, but that pic is his mirror. |

| Timothy you should post a pic of your male. Lavenders cost between 1200.00 to 2000.00 US dollars. I would love to see the animal as I love Kaouthias and curious about the look of the animal as you said it was Albino het Sunset. I know the break down on how Lavenders are produced and just curious on the actual look of your animal. Thanks | |

| I do not think extreme inbreeding is necessary. As far as I know, Mitch got his first animals wild caught. Lets say you have a WC leu male, you can pair it with many females and breed the hets with their half sisters/brothers. That would be the only inbreeding you would need to do and that is only 50%. You can introduce normals to produce hets in each step to dilute the bloodline. |
