| Thanks guys When the snakes look good, the pictures look better than they really are Judging by the tails there might be a possibility of 1.1 blacks. They´ve been around eachother many times but yet i haven´t seen anything else than that, keeping my fingers crossed here.. Cheers Stefan | |

| Thanks, i can´t even say which i like more. When i look at the blacks, they become my favourite but thenagain when i look at the greens the same happens Green ones are just about 1m so i don´t know if or how the coloration will change as they grow. Time will tell and hopefully i have that Here´s some more little older pictures (bad pics but yet again the snakes are nice). They aren´t as mean as they seem to be. Cheers Stefan | |

| Thanks, i don´t know which are my favorites. It seems always to be the ones that i´m looking at then Too bad they all were males, how many did your friend get? Have there been many breedings with D. typus? I don´t seem to find much information regarding that. But the last 2 weeks have been exciting, they´ve been at eachother almost everyday and this time they didn´t just coil around eachother. I got some pics about it, not topquality photos, but it should show enough: Now i just have to wait and keep my fingers crossed | |

| Thx guys, i´ll also keep my fingers crossed although i´ll be happy even if i only get one The setup and conditions seems to work so with luck it would be possible to get more out of these in the future. Atleast the male has been trying to mate again, both eat and the female doesn´t seem to be stressed about him (when i housed them separately they refused to eat) so i´ll let them be. Well Lucas, it´s nice to read that i´m not the only one whos been dreaming of boomies. As i´ve been lucky, and thanks to Christian, been able to get my hands on some i hope that you´ll too get yourself some boomies There aren´t that many who keep these beautiful and interesting snakes compared to some other species | |

A friend of mine had bought a large group, which unfortunately turned out to be all males
That's because boomslangs (or at least many populations of boomslang - not entirely sure if it's universal) are sexually dimorphic: green specimens are males, whereas the females are brown and much duller. Picking them by beauty alone is likely to lead to disappointment if you are planning a breeding program ;-) | |
